Meadow Wood Farm Arabians swept up the Colorado Breeders Cup and Open Halter Classes again this year at the CAHC Fall Show over Labor Day Weekend in Denver.
The much-awaited event was held on February 13th and 14th in the wonderful setting of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian & Racing Club, usual location for this "B" show. This year it was even more interesting, if that was at all possible, by the rich prizes awarded to the top five of each category, the Gold, Silver and Bronze medal of the final championship, in addition to some special prizes that we will see later on.
Jim Andreson passes away. Jim started his horse-breeding program about fifty years ago in North Dakota, but it was those Philadelphia years that really made the difference for him. Being a tall man (well over 6 feet) he wanted "more daylight" under his horses, and he was shopping for the right stallion...
