Early in the new millennium Magnum Forty Four came to Mulawa via way of Gene Riechardt. Forty Four represented the opportunity to reincorporate the blood of PADRON and BEY SHAH, as well as strengthen the Polish foundation on the farm. Forty Four also possessed a generous dose of Spanish blood through the enormously successful sire MAGNUM PSYCHE. The Spanish influence had already proved valuable in the Mulawa program through both Fame Maker R and TS AL Malik. Forty Four initially came to Australia on a two year lease; however his success and contribution to program ensured his purchase by Mulawa and a new long term home in Australia.

Magnum Forty Four excelled in the show ring winning Champion Stallion honors at both the East Coast Championships and the National Stud Horse Show. However it is as a sire that Forty Four’s true contribution is being made. The results of his get have been dazzling as is the beauty and consistency of quality he passes on. The progeny of 44 possess an abundance of refinement and elegance and show the same natural charisma as their sire.
