Most pure Arab Reiners are what we call buck shots. They can't do halter, English, hunter so they try reining. They don't come from a long line of reining blood like in the quarter horse breed. So the chances of them duplicating them selves are small because their daddy was a halter or hunter horse. What it Takes is the son of an incredible horse out of Keimosabi, Western Horse. No question What it Takes is a great Reiner. He could compete with the quarter horse. So, we bred him to see what he produced and now breed to proven reining quarter horse mares. Home Run!! We raise about 10 of his babies a year.
