| Massman Stables, Inc. is a unique facility offering a variety
of youth and amateur oriented programs. Our goal is to maximize
each rider's individual potential and assist them in achieving
their own personal goals. Leesa Massman in the owner and manager
of Massman Stables, Inc. She is a nationally renowned instructor
who's students have earned over 70 National Championships in multiple
divisions and breeds. Leesa has 26 years teaching experience along
with a Bachelor's of Science degree from Michigan State University
where she also coached the Michigan State Equestrian Team for
8 years. Miss Massman and her staff are dedicated to the development
of successful horsemanship skills both in and out of the showring.
The styles of riding that are taught is Western, hunt, saddle seat, native costume, showmanship, equitation and pleasure. Beginner riders through National Level accepted. All breeds of horses welcome. Guest Rider Weekends: Perfect for the out of area rider tuning up for a show or riders in training at barns that do not have a resident equitation instructor. Riders arrive on Friday and stay with us here on the farm through Sunday for an intensive weekend of instruction. $200.00 for the weekend, includes up to five lessons and board for one horse (or you may use one of our school horses). |

OUR FACILITY
| Massman Stables, Inc. may just be the most conveniently located
facility to be found in the State of Michigan. We are located
between two of the major show grounds in Michigan, just 2.5 miles
from the Mason Fairgrounds and just 6 miles from the new MSU Pavilion.
Massman Stables is located just 1.2 mile off US 127. Along with
superior location our facility also offers the unique feature
of two large indoor arenas: 60' x 140' and and 180' x 70' as well
as an outdoor arena, trails, new PVC fenced pastures and paddock,
barn restrooms and vending machines, a heated and air conditioned
lounge complete with cable TV.
Literally in our "Front yard" you will find Funtyme Adventure Park, with a large commercial waterslide, putt-putt golf, driving range, 9-hole gold course, go-carts, batting cages and video arcade. Also within 2 miles of the farm is Edru Roller rink, Winter Sportsman's Park, fishing, fabulous 18 hole golf courses and Spartan Speedway Racetrack (cars). |
