Mountain View Arabians is a small breeding program located in beautiful Central Maine. MVA is owned and operated by a mother-daughter team. We breed primarily Straight and Related Egyptian Arabians and have two or three foals per year. In 1995 we attended a newcomers seminar at Arabians LTD in Waco, Texas that changed our lives. It was at this seminar that we fell in love with the beauty, grace, and intelligence of the Egyptian Arabian.

We strive to breed beautiful, typey Arabians with good minds and great attitudes with potential in both halter and performance. We have foals in all price ranges.

Mountain View bred foals had a very successful 2003 show season. We are extremely proud and excited to have bred these incredible, beautiful horses. MVA Thee Love Affair (Thee Desperado x Padron Sarsue) was named 2003 Egyptian Event Junior Champion Filly and is now being shown in Europe for her new owner where she was named Top Ten at the Salon Du Cheval. MVA Designs Elegance (Infidels Design x Desalina) was named 2003 Region 16 Top Ten Breeders Sweepstakes Yearling Filly and MVA Comandrs TopBrass (QH Calypso Bay x HK Matria) was named 2003 Region 16 Unanimous Champion Half-Arabian Breeders Sweepstakes Yearling Colts/Geldings. We thank every one of the new owners of these and all our horses for giving our horses the chance to shine.

We believe that the Arabian horse is not just an animal of extreme beauty. We have found them to be willing, intelligent and able to excel in all disciplines. We are thankful for the opportunity to share our horses with you.

Dam is HK Matria (Muscastar by *Muscat x Maturia by *Magnificent) Full sibling to MVA Touched By Angels (listed on sales page) who was Region 16 Top Ten Sweepstakes Filly and Egyptian Event Top Ten Futurity Filly. Foal nominated for Sweepstakes, Region 16 Yearling Futurity and Region 16 3 year old Futurity.
