Arabian Race Horse Represents USA in 1 Million Dollar Race

The Arabian Jockey Club posted an important announcement that follows superstar, Valiant Boy SBFAR as he heads to the 1 Million Dollar Dubai Kahayla Classic this Saturday 3/28/15 (on Dubai World Cup Day... 1 Arabian race and 8 Thoroughbred races, culimating in the $10 million Dubai World Cup with California Chrome). Valiant Boy SBFAR is the U.S. Representative in the race, and with very live odds. He will most likely be named 2014 Horse of the Year at the Darleys next week, and this will be his second time winning it if he does. - shared with ArabHorse.com by Evie Tubbs Sweeney

Valiant Boy SBFAR Post on The Arabian Jocky Club Facebook page

It is with profound pleasure that we wholly support an Arabian race horse who has proven himself to be in the category of all-time greats, Valiant Boy SBFAR, as he readies himself to represent the United States in the $1 million Dubai Kahayla Classic on Saturday, March 28th. This purebred Arabian race is held on Dubai World Cup Day, dubbed the richest day in racing.

We look forward to cheering on this deserving American horse and all his connections: Elizabeth Merryman (trainer), Sharon Clark (racing manager), Guy Neivens (owner) and Hall of Fame jockey who will be guiding his trip, Joel Rosario.

Also worth mentioning is that Valiant Boy is nominated for the 2014 Darley Horse of the Year. If he wins, it will be his second HOY win. (He also earned the prestigious title in 2012.)
