News and results from yesterday's classes – as well as previous days – can be found on the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show website as well as Arabian Horse Results' website some highlights included great fun with the youth classes including the Western Horsemanship classes. These competitors may be young – but they take their ring time very seriously. It's plain to see there are some very talented up and coming horsemen and women and we can only hope they will take up the torch and make a career with the Arabian horse.

There were plenty of open performance classes – which are primarily filled with professionals, but are open to amateurs as well. In the Al Shahania Stud Wendell Arena, Justin Cowden, performance trainer at Royal Arabians, had a great ride with The Big Bopper ORA, bred and owned by Oak Ridge Arabians, winning in Half-Arabian Hunter Pleasure. For those new to the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, a sure way to tell if a classes is for Half-Arabians is to see if there are pinots or spotted horses in the class. Half-Arabians are very popular at the show and come in many variations. If you have a question, be sure to ask your neighbor; chances are they will be glad to share their knowledge with you and it will make your experience even more enjoyable!

The Aljassimya Farm Arena was the place to see classes for the international colts and stallions. Once again, the place was packed with people and spectacular Arabian horses. There were some really stellar individuals and of course everyone one has their favorites. Breeding programs from around the world brought their best in hopes of earning the Scottsdale Championship title. The high scoring male in the International Classes was Equator (QR Marc x Ekliptyka by Ekstern), bred by the Michalow State Stud of Poland and leased by Aljassimya Farm in Santa Ynez, California and presented by Glenn Schoukens. The International Championships and the Straight Egyptian and Egyptian Heritage Championships will be held Monday afternoon.

If you can't attend the show in person, be sure to catch the action and excitement offered from several arenas by iEquine and Arabian Horse Results, which are providing the live feed of the show. Where ever you are, either ringside or the comfort of your home, ENJOY THE SHOW!
