Al Shaqab International Equestrian Festival

As Arab horses have such a strong presence in Qatari tradition, it was with excitement and honor that CHI AL SHAQAB launched in 2013. This was the first festival of its kind in the Middle East and Asia, which has emerged from this tradition. For the fourth edition in 2016, once again the best national and international equestrians will gather in Doha to participate in this exciting event.

CHI AL SHAQAB is under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Thani and Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani. The event is kindly also supported by Qatar Foundation.
