SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2015

Welcome to the 2015 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show News and Reviews for Sunday, February 22nd. The sponsors for today’s news are David Boggs, the staff and clients of Midwest Station II.

Today is the final day of the show and never have 10 days passed so quickly.

Every class today is a championship and the culmination of riders and handlers’ hard work. The level of quality at the show has been unbelievable from the halter competitors to every performance class – the horses have been beautiful and so talented.

Among some of the most beautiful have been all of the halter and breeding horses. David Boggs, and the amateur handler clients of Midwest Station II have presented many class winners. You will see them return today to compete for the championship titles.

Who will be lucky and bring home the ultimate title of Supreme Halter Horse of the 2015 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show? The expert panel of judges will make that decision. But it will be a thrill to watch and see. Midwest Station II has had the unprecedented honor to present the Supreme Halter Champion of the show on numerous occasions. Those winners include Magnum Psyche, Aria Impressario, LD Pistal, and Pogrom. David Boggs commented, ”It has been and honor and a privilege to present these great horses of the past. I am deeply appreciative of our clients and the breeders who entrust their treasured horses to me and to the staff at Midwest. We will do our very best to ensure their health and well-being and to bring them to their very highest potential and success.”

Champions that will be presented today by Midwest Station II include Hariry Al Shaqab, bred and owned by Al Shaqab, Member of the Qatar Foundation; and Wieza Mocy, bred and owned by the Michalow State Stud of Poland and leased by Janey Morse of Oak Ridge Arabians. Michalow State Stud director Jerzy Biaolobok is in the house to cheer on Mocy. Another top contender will be Byronica RH, bred by Robin and Drago Kragulj of Robin Hood Farm and owned by Lady Gina Pelham of Estancia la Catalina, Argentina.

Also, another great opportunity, the gorgeous original painting featured on the cover of this year’s show program, created by the super talented young artist Karina Peacemaker, will be auctioned off today. The proceeds will go to a charitable cause. Karina was honored with the President’s Award during last night’s performances, which recognized her for her outstanding contributions and support of the AHAA and its members. Cindy McGowan and Mark Davis of Royal Arabians, were also honored with a President’s Award for their continuous support and generous contributions to the AHAA, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and the Arabian Breeder National Finals.
