TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2015

Welcome to the 2015 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show News and Reviews for Tuesday, February 17th. The sponsor for today’s news is Arabian Horse Futures, Tracy White and Ken and Joanne White.

Ken White of Arabian Horse Futures has been involved with Arabians since the mid 1970’s when he purchased the classic stallion Hal Gazal. Although the Whites owned this highly acclaimed stallion, they always considered themselves to be small breeders. Even today, over 30 years later, the Whites have less than a handful of mares, which form the foundation of their small, boutique breeding program.

The nucleus of the Arabian Horse Future’s breeding program is their mares: Aria Elita and her twin sister, Aria Jamina. Actually, the sisters were carried and delivered by recipient mares. The beautiful bay fillies were born just days apart. Aria Elita and Aria Jamina are sired by Justify (Magnum Psyche x S Justadream), and out of BK Tamina (Armani x Tai Mi Psyche).

Foaled in 2008, the sisters are now just seven years old. Yet, they have already produced National Champions and Reserve National Champions including Makhara AF, 2014 Canadian National Champion Futurity Filly and Canadian National Champion Mare AAOTH. Aria Elita’s son, Elite AF was 2014 Canadian National Reserve Champion Futurity Colt and his sister, LR Valita, was 2014 Canadian National Top Ten Futurity Filly.

In addition, Aria Elita’s daughter, MCF Tru Elation, by Trussardi, was named 2015 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Breeders International Champion Yearling Filly. She was presented by Jerry Schall of Shada Arabians, Inc.

Arabian Horse Futures is offering two unprecedented opportunities to discerning breeders. First, they are offering a 2015 embryo on the InTarah Dream Auction, out of Aria Elita and sired by Kahil Al Shaqab. The Whites are also offering an unborn foal in the same auction by Van Gogh, the Unanimous Scottsdale Champion International Stallion, and out of their wonderful Vallentino daughter, RS Vallerina, to foal late May, early June this year!
