Aria Rakeem & ROSE CITY ARABIANS
a parternship of success!

Kim and I first met Aria Rakeem when we accidentally rented Greg Knowles's ranch in Scottsdale on VRBO for the 2020 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. We were so excited when we figured out exactly what we had done. During our stay in his beautiful home, we had the opportunity to sneak a sneak peek at Aria Rakeem in a private presentation for David Boggs when he was just a 2-year-old stallion. We were invited when David came back for a 3rd look, and Rakeem literally took our breath away. Kim and I rarely BOTH get that 'aha' moment when looking at horses, but Rakeem took us both by surprise. Neither of us could stop thinking about him.

We knew we were going to breed to him due to the total structure combined with the unreal stretch. We had never seen a more correct Arabian anywhere in the world. A few days later, Greg asked us if we may be interested in a partnership if he created a syndicate with five potential owners. We wrote the first check that day!!!

Since that day, we have been joined by four other partners, not including the original owners, John and Debra Mitchell. The other four owners are Kim & Joe Orr, Stuart & Carol Nierenburg, Rick Richetta & Ruel, and Virginia Gober. This partnership has been so much fun and literally like a fairy tale.

Greg Knowles is the managing partner and has done a fantastic job on every level. Greg has sold hundreds of breedings worldwide. Aria Rakeem has been shown by Royal Arabians and named the 2023 UNANIMOUS Scottsdale Champion Senior Stallion and the United States Reserve National Champion Senior Stallion. And all of this at the young age of 5.

Kim and I have traveled the world and looked at many famous breeding stallions in search of "The One," and Rakeem is "The One," who is so correct in every way. He is very tall and stretchy yet smooth and balanced, athletic and beautiful, and has that bloodline of redundancy that should make him a remarkably consistent breeder.

Aria Rakeem is by the great FA EL RASHEEM and out of the great MD HIBAT ALLAH! This was the icing on the cake for Kim and I. We have chosen to breed three fillies by Rakeem from our top 3 mares at Rose City Arabians. After breeding nine fillies, we will have chosen 3 to keep as our newest breeding mare additions to Rose City Arabians. We believe Aria Rakeem will prove to be one of the most sought-after stallions of our generation over time. People will begin to see how these horses grow up, are athletic, and represent the breed to the highest expectations! Aria Rakeem's offspring should improve every year and prove themselves in the show ring worldwide. We have two fillies by him now, and they are both the best we have ever bred.

We are so grateful to be a small part of this wonderful partnership.
